包茎手術でトラブル続発 高額施術・大量出血・壊死…
国民生活センターは２３日、包茎手術について、不安をあおられ高額な施術を強引に勧められたり、手術後に痛みが続いたりするなどの相談が相次いでいると注意を呼びかけた。
全国の消費生活センターなどが受けた包茎手術に関する相談は２０１１年度から１５年度の５年間で１０９２件あり、１０～３０代からの相談が大半を占める。
相談内容として、広告で手術費用が５万～１０万円と掲載されていたのに、病院で「安い手術だと汚い仕上がりになる」などと説明され、５０万～１００万円以上の高額な施術を勧められ、その日のうちに契約し、手術してしまった、といった例が目立つという。
手術によって痛みや腫れのほか、大量に出血したり、組織が壊死（えし）したりしたという術後をめぐる相談もあった。センターは過去に手術を受けた１５０人にもアンケートし、約４割が施術後に何らかの不安や不満、不具合を感じていると回答した。
センターは「医学上緊急性がない場合には即日施術は避けるべき」と強調。さらに、国の指針に反して広告で安さを前面に出したり、術前術後の写真を掲載したりする医療機関を選ばないよう勧めている。
また、「悩んでいる時は泌尿器科か形成外科の診察を受け、医者がきちんと説明してくれたか、内容や金額に納得できたか、検討したうえで手術日を予約しましょう」との医師のコメントを紹介し、注意を促している。詳しい内容は、センターの公表資料に掲載している。
東京に本拠を置く医療問題弁護団の有志は２６日午前１０時～午後３時、包茎手術被害の電話相談（０３・６８６９・８４５２）を無料で受け付ける。
