思わぬサプライズに、ファンからは「田中はいい球投げるだけじゃなくてチケットも売れるのか！ 彼なら駐車場の誘導もできるんじゃないか？」「すごい！ なんてスリルだ！」「タナカァァァァァァァァ！」といった声が上がっている。
