トランプ大統領と情報機関、対立が激化 機密情報を大統領に伝えていない?

トランプ政権がアメリカ国家安全保障局(NSA)や連邦捜査局(FBI)などアメリカ国内の情報機関とさらに対立を深めていると、複数のメディアが報じている。

トランプ氏が大統領になってからわずか数週間、マイケル・フリン大統領補佐官が辞任してから、まだ数日しか経っていない。

ウォール・ストリート・ジャーナルは15日、複数の情報機関が漏洩を懸念して大統領に機密情報を伝えていない可能性があると報じた。ウォール・ストリート・ジャーナルは匿名の新旧当局者の話として、大統領に伝えられなかった情報の中には「外国政府に対して情報機関が用いる諜報手段」など、情報収集の方法が含まれていたという。また、このような決定に至ったのは、トランプ氏が明らかにロシアのプーチン大統領に好意的だからだとみられる。

ホワイトハウスは疑惑を否定し、WSJは「安全保障上の脅威や潜在的な陰謀についての機密情報が除外されている」という事例については分からないと伝えた。

ニューヨークタイムズも15日、トランプ大統領が情報機関の再編のために、億万長者のニューヨーカーで、スティーブ・バノン首席戦略官の友人スティーブン・ファインバーグ氏を責任者に指名すると報じた。公式ではないにしても、こうした動きから情報機関の間では、ファインバーグ氏の存在によって「独立性が奪われ、大統領の世界観に反する情報量を減らされるのではないか」という懸念が高まっている。

ニューヨークタイムズによると、ファインバーグ氏は初めて情報機関の勤務経験がない上級高官として就任することになる。

報道が出るわずか数時間前、トランプ氏はTwitterで、機密情報の違法な漏洩が13日のフリン氏の辞任につながったとしてアメリカの情報機関を激しく非難していた。元陸軍士官のフリン氏は、トランプ大統領が就任する数週間前から、対ロシア制裁についてロシア政府の関係者と話し合っていたとワシントンポストに報じられ、政府高官が否定したにもかかわらず辞任した。

その後ワシントンポストは13日、司法省が1月にフリン氏が当局職員らを欺き、「ロシアの脅しに弱い」とトランプ氏に伝えていたと報じた。トランプはすぐにフリン氏を罷免しなかったことで批判されている。

こうした懸念に対処するどころか、トランプ氏は記者の追及をかわし、怒りをTwitterでぶちまけた。15日、イスラエルのベンヤミン・ネタニヤフ首相との共同記者会見で、メディアへの情報漏洩は「犯罪行為」だと述べた。

トランプ大統領は記者会見で「情報機関から文書が漏洩している、情報が筒抜けにされている。これは訴訟ものの犯罪行為だ。私の前から今もずっと続いている。民主党がヒラリー・クリントンの下で大敗したことを取り繕うおうとしてやっていることだ」と語った。

本当の問題は「情報機関」から極秘情報がキャンディのように違法にばらまかれたことだ。非常にアメリカらしくない!

情報機関(NSAと FBIか?)から経営不振のニューヨークタイムズとワシントンポストに違法に情報が渡っている。ロシアみたいだ。

またトランプ氏は、お決まりのやり方でフリン氏に関する騒動もごまかそうとした。メディア攻撃だ。

トランプ氏は「フリン氏はメディアから非常に不公平な扱いを受けた。ほとんどが『偽メディア』だ。こんなにひどい扱いを受けるのは本当に悲しい」と記者会見で述べた

どの発言も、トランプ氏が大統領就任直後の1月21日、バージニア州のアメリカ中央情報局(CIA)本部を訪ねてから1カ月も経たないうちに飛び出したものだ。トランプ氏は情報機関の関係者らへの演説で、任務について感謝した。またトランプ氏と情報機関の間に不和があるように見せているとメディアを批判した。

「情報機関やCIAにドナルド・トランプほど強気でいられる者はいない。誰もだ」と、トランプ氏は語った。
