台風8号、九州上陸 離れた場所で土石流も【画像・動画】

台風8号が鹿児島県阿久根市付近に上陸し、時速25km/hの速さで東に進んでいるとみられる。

気象庁は7月10日午後7時前、台風8号が鹿児島県阿久根市付近に上陸したと発表した。台風や前線の影響で、九州から東北にかけての広い範囲で待機が非常に不安定な状態になっており、今後、台風から離れたところでも非常に激しい雨が降るおそれがある。気象庁は厳重な警戒を呼びかけている。

気象庁によると、台風8号は10日午前6時、熊本県水俣市の西40キロの海上を、時速25kmで東に進んでいた。中心気圧が980ヘクトパスカル(hPa)、最大風速は25km/h。台風はこのあとも速度を上げながら東に進むと予想され、11日には東日本に接近する見込み。

台風の接近にともなって、梅雨前線の動きも活発化しており、10日は九州から東北にかけての広い範囲で、局地的に激しい雨が降るとみられている。九州南部では、10日昼過ぎにかけて1時間に70ミリの非常に激しい雨が、四国では10日昼過ぎにかけて1時間に80ミリの猛烈な雨が、東海地方では10日夜のはじめ頃から11日未明にかけて1時間に80ミリという猛烈な雨が降るおそれがある。

なお、この台風の影響で、長野県南木曽町(なぎそまち)では9日午後5時45分頃、土石流が発生住宅1棟が流され、家の中にいた母親と男の子3人が巻き込まれ、このうち12歳の男子中学生が死亡した。

県などによると、土石流が起きたのは木曽川支流の梨子沢。上流で発生した土石流が現場周辺の100メートル以上にわたって川からあふれ出し、近くを通るJR中央線の橋も流されたという。南木曽町ではこの時間、7月としては最大となる1時間当たり70ミリの雨を観測していた。この土石流の瞬間を、国土交通省中部地方整備局が設置した監視カメラがとらえていた。
