2015年のクリスマスは、満月だNASAによると、最も丸くなるのは12月25日の午後8時11分。ウェザードットコムによると、満月がクリスマスと重なるのは1977年以来、38年ぶり。次回は2034年で、19年先になる。

なお、アメリカ東部標準時で満月の時間は、25日の早朝・午前6時11分。サンタが丸い月を背景に、プレゼントを配り回る姿が目撃されるかも!?
