「政府発表だけ報道せよ」 中国で報道規制【長江の客船転覆事故】

中国・長江で起きた客船の転覆事故で、中国の宣伝当局が国内の報道機関に、国営メディアや政府が発表した情報のみを報道するよう通知したことが6月2日、分かった。

中国・長江で起きた客船の転覆事故で、中国の宣伝当局が国内の報道機関に、国営メディアや政府が発表した情報だけを報道するよう通知したことが6月2日、分かった。47NEWSが報じた。

習近平指導部は、李克強首相を現場に派遣し、全力で救助に当たる姿勢をアピール。こうした中、国内の各メディアが独自に事故の原因や責任を追及し、政府批判に発展することを警戒したとみられる。

朝日新聞デジタルによると1日午後9時半ごろ、湖北省の長江で乗員乗客458人が乗っていた客船「東方之星」が転覆した。2日正午までに5人の死亡を確認されたが、犠牲者はさらに増える恐れがある。

船長らを含む12人の生存が確認されたが、公安当局は船長と機関長を拘束した。船長らは「急な竜巻に襲われ、船はすぐに転覆した」と話しているという。
