横浜市の韓国領事館の駐車場で12月12日、「靖国神社爆破の報復だ」などと書かれた紙が貼られた不審物が見つかった。午前9時頃に職員が発見し、地元警察に通報。万が一の事態に備えて、爆発物処理班が出動した。テレ朝ニュースなどが報じた。
韓国の聯合ニュースが領事館側の話として伝えたところによると、不審物は縦約15センチ、横約35センチ、高さ約5センチの箱で、外側に「靖国爆破に対する報復である」「在日特権を許さない市民の会」などの文字が書かれていた。
爆発物処理班が確認したところ、箱の中には乾燥状態の糞とみられるものが入っており、領事館側は「人のものか動物のものかは確認が必要」などと述べているという。
