少女を9年間、車庫で監禁 アルゼンチン、犬や猿の餌食べる

南米アルゼンチンの首都ブエノスアイレスで、養父母に9年間にわたり車庫に閉じ込められ虐待を受け、餓死寸前の状態になっていた少女(15)が保護されたことが4月16日、明らかになった。

南米アルゼンチンの首都ブエノスアイレスで、養父母に9年間にわたり車庫に閉じ込められ虐待を受け、餓死寸前の状態になっていた少女(15)が保護されたことが4月16日、明らかになった。病院に搬送された少女は極度の栄養失調状態で、体重は20キロしかなかった。犬や猿と共に監禁されていたという。地元紙クラリン(電子版)の報道として、時事ドットコムなどが報じた。

少女はパンと水しか与えられず、ドッグフードなど犬や猿のえさの残りを食べて飢えをしのいでいた。「9年間で車庫の外に出られたのは2回だけ」と話しているという。

幼い母親の元に生まれた少女は2001年、きょうだいが多く育てられなくなったとして、養父母に預けられた。監禁は05年から始まり、ベルトでむち打たれるなどの虐待も受けていた。

養父母は「聖なる死」(San La Muerte)と呼ばれる南米南部のカルト宗教の信者だったという。

実の姉が少女の元を訪れて監禁が発覚した。養父母はカルト教団の信者で、当局は教団の思想が監禁の背景にある可能性もあるとみている。

姉からの通報を受けた司法当局が踏み込み、少女を救出するとともに養父母を逮捕したという。
