サッカーのワールドカップ(W杯)ブラジル大会の開幕戦が行われるサンパウロでバス運転手がストライキを起こし、交通への影響が深刻化している。

[サンパウロ 21日 ロイター] - サッカーのワールドカップ(W杯)ブラジル大会の開幕戦が行われるサンパウロでバス運転手がストライキを起こし、交通への影響が深刻化している。

賃上げを求めるストライキは21日に2日目に突入し、半分以上のターミナルが封鎖。中には路上に停められたままのバスもあった。電車は大混雑となり、地元メディアによれば、交通渋滞も市内で260キロに達した。

同様のストライキはリオデジャネイロでも先週起こっており、試合会場への移動を公共の交通機関に依存するW杯観戦者への影響が不安視されている。

開幕スタジアムのテスト試合、FIFAが日程再調整

[サンパウロ 21日 ロイター] - 国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)は、来月行われるワールドカップ(W杯)ブラジル大会の開幕戦の会場であるサンパウロで29日に予定されていたテストマッチを中止すると発表した。

当初のスケジュールでは、29日の現地時間16時にコリンチャンス─クルゼイロの試合が行われる予定だったが、深刻な交通渋滞を引き起こすことが予想されるため、他の会場で行うように変更された。

ただ、FIFAのジェローム・バルク事務局長は「すべての設備を実際の試合と同じ状態でテストすることは非常に重要だ」とコメント。FIFAは6月1日にサンパウロでテストマッチを行う方向で再調整していることを明かした。
