ベルギーで少なくとも32人が死亡した3月22日の連続爆破事件で、実行犯は当初、フランスで再びテロを起こすことを計画していた。

ベルギーで32人が死亡した3月22日の連続爆破事件で、実行犯は当初、フランスで再びテロを起こすことを計画していたと、ロイターがベルギーの捜査関係者の情報をもとに4月10日に伝えた。

2015年11月13日に130人が死亡したパリの同時多発テロは、多くの実行犯が捜査の手を逃れ、ベルギーに潜伏していたことが明らかになっている。そのうちの一人で、2016年4月8日に逮捕されたモハメド・アブリニ容疑者は、3月のブリュッセル国際空港での爆発に関与したことを認めたという。

「様々な捜査情報から、テロリストのグループが当初はフランスを攻撃対象としていたことは明らかだ。捜査の進展に驚き、ブリュッセルを攻撃することに変更した」と、ベルギーの連邦検察官は声明を出した。
