［ハノイ ５日 ロイター］ - ベトナム国営テレビは、中国と領有権を争う南シナ海の西沙諸島付近の海上で先月２６日、漁船が中国の船舶に体当たりされて沈没する様子だとする映像を放送した。
映像では、大型の船が小型の漁船の後方から接近して衝突し、漁船が沈没する様子が確認できる。同テレビによると、この映像は先月２６日に西沙諸島近海で撮影された。
この海域では、中国の国営企業が海底油田の掘削装置を設置して以来、中越両国の船舶がにらみ合いを続けている。先月２７日、ベトナムの当局は、漁船が中国船に衝突され沈没したと発表していた。一方、中国の新華社通信は、ベトナムの船が中国の漁船に「嫌がらせをした上、衝突し」沈没したと伝えた。
