フランス全国で12月6日、地域圏議会選挙が投開票され、極右政党が歴史的な勝利を収めた。

フランス全国で12月6日、地域圏議会選挙が投開票され、極右政党が歴史的な勝利を収めた。AP通信などが伝えた。

130人が死亡した11月13日の同時多発テロ後、初めてとなるフランスの全国的な選挙で、民意の行方が注目されたが、ルペン党首率いる国民戦線(FN)は、移民規制や治安維持強化を訴え支持を広げた。内務省の暫定集計は、およそ3分の2が開票された時点で、FNは全国で30.2%の得票を得て、13地域圏のうち6地域圏でトップになった。

サルコジ前大統領率いる保守・右派の共和党は27.4%で第2位で、パリを含む4地域圏で首位となった。オランド大統領の左派・社会党は22.7%。3地域圏で首位に立っている。

「歴史的な、驚くべき勝利だ。古いシステムは今日、死んだのだ」。FN党首マリーヌ・ルペン氏のめい、マリオン・マレシャル・ルペン議員はフランスのTF1テレビに語った。決選投票は13日に行われる。1カ所でも勝利すれば、2017年の大統領選挙と国会選挙を前に、地域議会を基盤に国政レベルの発言力を確保したいFNにとって追い風になる。

今後の焦点は、決選投票での「反FN連合」がどこまで成立するかに移る。第3位に甘んじた社会党は、FNが得票率1位となって議長(首長に相当)を選出するのを阻止するため、一部の議会で立候補を辞退して共和党候補を後押しする検討を始めた。一部の対立候補が辞退を拒否するなど、先行きは不透明だ。
