急速に発達している低気圧を寒気の影響で、東京都心で12月20日13時半ごろ、ひょうが観測された。15時過ぎには、初雪を観測した。関東地方では、夕方にかけて急な強い雨や落雷、竜巻などの突風、ひょうなどに注意が必要だという。

東京では午後1時30分にひょうが降りました。午後3時10分ごろには雨に雪がまじり、初雪を観測しました。関東地方はあと数時間は雨や雪が降りやすいでしょう。

この後も全国各地で大気が不安定な状態が続くため、気象庁は落雷や突風に注意するように呼びかけている。

20日は、このあとも風の強い状態が続き、日本海側や標高の高い地域ではふぶく見込みです。



山陰から北陸にかけての日本海沿岸と、関東と東北の太平洋沿岸は大しけになる見込みです。

大気の不安定な状態も続き、発達した積乱雲の近くでは雷を伴ってひょうが降ったり、竜巻などの突風が発生したりするおそれがあります。
