韓国・ソウル中心部の光化門付近で11月14日、朴槿恵大統領を批判する大規模なデモ「民衆総決起大会」が開かれ、主催者の発表で10万人以上(警察の推定は約6万4000人)が参加した。朴槿恵大統領が推進してきた歴史教科書の国定化に反対し、若者の就職難や貧富の格差拡大などに対策を取るよう叫んだ。
