ディズニーは7月11日、ディズニーパークブログで、アメリカで建設が進められている「スター・ウォーズ」のテーマランドの新しいコンセプト画像を公開した。緑豊かな舞台に、ミレニアム・ファルコン号など映画に登場したモチーフが描かれている。

ディズニーは2015年8月、アメリカの2つのディズニーテーマパークに「スター・ウォーズ」をテーマにしたエリアを開設することを発表。約14エーカー（約5万6660㎡）という広大な敷地に、細かいディテールにこだわった世界観を提供するとした。
ブログでは、ミレニアム・ファルコン号を使ったアトラクションについても言及。宇宙に散らばる塵の合間を抜けて、ミレニアム・ファルコン号を操作する体験ができると綴られている。
