Android端末用のガザ空爆ゲーム「Bomb Gaza」が登場したが、抗議が殺到し、「Google Play」から削除された。

Android端末用のガザ空爆ゲーム「Bomb Gaza」が登場したが、抗議が殺到し、「Google Play」から削除された。

波紋を呼んだこのゲームは、イスラエルのマークがついた戦闘機を操作し、一般市民を殺さないようにしながら、「ハマスの戦士」とされる黒と緑のマスクをしたキャラクターを攻撃するというものだ。

7月29日に公開されたこのゲームは、話題になるとほぼ同時に抗議が殺到し、8月4日にGoogle Playから削除されたものの、すでに1000回ほどダウンロードされた後だった、と英紙「ザ・ガーディアン」は伝えている

このアプリはFacebookでも登場していた。反発したユーザーたちは、ゲームを開発したPlayFTW社のFacebookページを突き止め、抗議している。

なお、同様に非難の対象となった別のゲーム「Iron Dome Interceptor」は、まだGoogle Playに存在している。このゲームは「隣町のテロリストがあなたの街を攻撃しています。クラスター爆弾などで防御しましょう」というものだが、タイトルはイスラエルの防空システム「アイアンドーム」の名前を使っており、進行中の紛争に着想を得たことは明らかだ。

ハフポストUK版がこのたびGoogle Playを一通り確認したところ、ガザ紛争のイメージを利用したり、ガザを舞台にしたゲームを少なくとも5つ発見した。以下はGoogle Playに記載されているゲームの説明文。

ゲーム内容:

攻撃したい時は、好きな場所をタップして位置を指定します。落ちてくるロケット砲をすべて破壊しながら敵に攻撃を加え、時間を稼いでください。街を救える時間は20秒です。

このゲームは、1980年代の有名ゲーム「ディフェンダー」の派生ゲームだが、プレイヤーがイスラエル側なのかパレスチナ側なのかははっきりしない。開発したのは「Flappy Bird」を作ったAX Gamesで、他にも、パキスタンの過激派「タレバン」(タリバンのもじり)を攻撃するゲーム「Operation Zarb e Azb」も制作している(実際にパキスタンと米国がタリバン等に向けて行った軍事作戦の名前が使われている)。

この2Dゲームは、ガザのことを知ってもらうために作られました。「Flappy Bird」に似た、楽しめるゲームですが、このゲームをしていれば、ガザで繰り広げられる紛争を忘れることはないでしょう。

明らかにくだらないゲームだ。遊び方は「Flappy Bird」と似ており、勝つためには、ロケット船(?)から身を守らなければならない。

ゲーム内容

このゲームの遊び方は、有名なゲーム「Flying hopper」と似ていますが、非人道的な支配者によって閉じ込められたガザ地区の英雄たちを支援する目的を持っており、そういった点では新しいと言えるでしょう。

敵のミサイルをコントロールしつつ、割り当てられたターゲットを攻撃するのがゲームの目的です。とはいえ、防空システム「アイアンドーム」だけでなく、他にもさまざまな防衛手段が数多く配され、プレイヤーを待ち受けています。

ゲーム内容

イスラエル軍を1つひとつタップ/クリックしていくだけで、パレスチナ人のための食料や水、ケーキ、薬品を入手できるゲームです。イスラエルの暴虐を恨んだところで、パレスチナ人は救われません。直接寄付を行なうか、このゲームをプレイしたり共有したりしましょう。この紛争は宗教の問題ではありません。人類の問題です。これはガザ地区のための慈善を目的としたゲームであり、このゲームによる収益金はすべてガザ地区に寄付されます。

ゲーム内容

パレスチナの各都市を舞台にした、冒険いっぱいのサスペンスゲームです。観光を楽しみながら、ゴールのエルサレムを目指して、数々の障害をひとりで乗り越えていかなければなりません。このゲームを購入すれば、パレスチナに関心がわき、楽しめる上に、役にも立てるでしょう。ゲームの収益金はガザ地区の教育事業に充てられるからです。
