ロシア政府は２９日、日本がロシアへの追加制裁に踏み切ったことに失望をあらわにし、対抗措置を取る構えを鮮明にした。
日本政府は同日、ロシアの政府当局者ら２３人へのビザ（査証）発給を停止することを決めた。
ロシア外務省報道官は声明で「日本政府の決定に失意を覚え、今回の事態をうやむやのまま終わらせることはない」と言明。そのうえで「明らかに外部からの圧力によって取られた手際の悪い措置だ。ロシアとの関係発展の重要性を強調する日本政府の思惑に反している。制裁という言葉によって、われわれとコミュニケーションをとることは非生産的であると強調したい」とした。
