サッカーのワールドカップ(W杯)ブラジル大会の組織委員会は7日、すでに販売された1000枚以上の観戦チケットに関し、スタジアムの建設作業の遅れにより、指定座席を変更することになったと明らかにした。

[リオデイロ 7日 ロイター] - サッカーのワールドカップ(W杯)ブラジル大会の組織委員会は7日、すでに販売された1000枚以上の観戦チケットに関し、スタジアムの建設作業の遅れにより、指定座席を変更することになったと明らかにした。

W杯ブラジル大会では12会場で試合が行われる予定だが、1376枚のチケットについて、同じカテゴリーの別セクションへの座席変更を求める電子メールが購入者に送られた。

W杯開幕戦、ブラジル対クロアチア戦(12日)まで1週間を切ったが、スタジアムの建設作業はいまだ完了していない。

国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)のスポークスマンは、混乱を避けるため、当局はチケット購入者に事前に連絡を取ったと説明。また、これまでに220万枚の観戦チケットが販売されているが、影響を受けるのはそのわずか一部としている。
