ワールドカップ準決勝、ブラジルがドイツに1-7で歴史的大敗

FIFAワールドカップ・ブラジル大会の準決勝1試合目、ブラジルはドイツと対戦して、前半から5点、後半2点を奪われて、1−7の歴史的な大敗。圧倒的な優勝候補に挙げられながら、決勝進出はならなかった。

7月9日、FIFAワールドカップ・ブラジル大会の準決勝1試合目、ブラジルはドイツと対戦して、前半から5点、後半2点を奪われて、1−7の歴史的な大敗。圧倒的な優勝候補に挙げられながら、決勝進出はならなかった。

これを悲劇と言わずして、なんと言うか。

ブラジルは前半早々にコーナーキックから失点すると、23分にサイドの崩しからクローゼに決められて追加点を奪われる。その後、攻めざるを得ない状況でミスやカウンターから前半のうちに3失点を喫して、0-5。後半はも一方的な展開で、90分にオスカルが一矢報いるのがやっとだった。

立ち上がり、ブラジルが前から潰しに行く、積極的な戦い方で接戦が予想されたが、ドイツの正確なパス回しがブラジルの守備を狂わせると、一気に形勢がドイツに傾いた。もともと守備から入って個人技頼みの攻めが多かったブラジルは、リードを許すとネイマール不在もあって攻め手を欠いた。

ブラジルの7失点は、今大会の全試合の中で最多失点。ブラジルのワールドカップ出場の歴史を振り返っても最多だった。後半途中には、ブラジルのサポーターがドイツのパス回しに声援を送る、ブラジル選手にとっては屈辱的なシーンもあった。

自国開催での大敗。試合会場のある「ベロオリゾンテの悲劇」として人々の記憶に残る試合となった。
