ギリシャ政府は7月16日、ユーロ圏各国に提示した財政改革法案を議会で可決して法制化したことを受け、6月29日から休業していた国内銀行の営業を20日から再開すると表明した。

ギリシャ政府は7月16日、ユーロ圏各国に提示した財政改革法案を議会で可決して法制化したことを受け、6月29日から休業していた国内銀行の営業を20日から再開すると表明した。ワシントン・ポストなどが報じた。

ロイターによると、欧州中央銀行がギリシャの銀行向け緊急流動支援(ELA)枠を9億ユーロ引き上げた。20日の取り付け騒ぎを回避するため、資本規制は継続する。

NHKによると、ユーロ圏各国の財務相会合(ユーログループ)は電話会合で、17日に予定されているドイツ議会の承認を経て、3年間で最大860億ユーロ(約11兆7000億円)の金融支援に関する協議を始めることで合意した。また、70億ユーロのつなぎ融資も承認された。

財政改革法案が可決した15日夜には、法案に反対するデモ隊の一部が暴徒化し、国会議事堂前で警備にあたっていた警官隊に火炎瓶を投げつけ、警察が催涙弾で応戦するなど混乱した。公務員組合などが24時間ストを実施するなど、国内の混乱が長引く恐れがある。
