8月30日に国会前などで開かれた安保法案に反対するデモに関して、大阪市長の橋下徹氏が苦言を呈した。

8月30日に国会前などで開かれた安保法案に反対するデモに関して、大阪市長の橋下徹氏が苦言を呈した。

橋下氏は31日に投稿したTwitterで「デモは否定しない」とした上で、「デモで国家の意思が決定されるのは絶対にダメ」「こんな人数のデモで国家の意思が決定されるなら、サザンのコンサートで意思決定する方がよほど民主主義だ」と、デモが国会の審議に影響を与えることを牽制した。

なお、30日のデモ参加者は主催者によると、霞が関などの周辺地域を含めてのべ約35万人、警察発表では国会前だけで約3万3000人が参加した。橋下氏が比較対象として出したサザン・オールスターズは5月27日の東京ドーム公演で、約5万人が参加している
