MERS、タイでも初の感染者

タイ保健省は、国内で初めてのMERS感染者が確認されたと発表した。中東オマーンから入国した、75歳の男性だという。

タイ保健省は6月18日、国内で初めての中東呼吸器症候群(MERS)コロナウイルス感染者が確認されたと発表した。中東オマーンから入国した、75歳のオマーン人男性だという。

この男性は、心臓病の治療のため、家族3人と共に15日からバンコクに滞在。せきなどの症状がでたため検査を行ったところ、感染が確認された。容態は安定しているという

政府は飛行機や空港、タクシー、ホテルなどを含め、男性と接触したとみられる59人についても、病院や自宅で健康状態を観察している。
