LAS VEGAS, NV - APRIL 04: The moon is shown during a brief total eclipse, the shortest one this century, as it skims the Earth\'s shadow on April 4, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the third in a lunar tetrad - four consecutive total lunar eclipses with no partial lunar eclipses in between them. The orange glow of the moon is a result of sunlight scattered off Earth\'s atmosphere giving it the nickname \'blood moon.\' The next full lunar eclipse will occur on Sept. 28, 2015. LOS ANGELES, CA - APRIL 4: The moon is seen behind downtown high-rise buildings during the shortest total lunar eclipse of the century before dawn on April 4, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. The eclipse, with the moment of totality lasting only about five minutes, is particularly brief because the moon is passing through the upper part of the Earth\'s circular shadow rather than across the middle, which would have made it last longer.
